WATCH: ‘The Exorcist’ stars Kevin Bacon and Tilda Swinton in epic battle scene from ‘The Purge’
The latest episode of The Exorcism franchise is in theaters now and the cast and crew have shared a few exclusive details about the scene in which Tilda swears vengeance against her lover and husband in the film’s climax.
In a clip from the upcoming season, Tilda and her husband, Will Smith, face off against a demonic possession that washes away Will’s sanity and sends him to a remote island.
“Will Smith, Kevin Bacon, and I are in a battle against this demon that’s destroying our lives and wreaking havoc in our town,” Tilda said.
“So we’re fighting it in a very intense way.
And we have to keep fighting.”

Tilda swipes her left forearm at the demonic possession, and it’s not long before the film cuts to the scene where Will Smith’s wife, Maggie Smith, appears to be screaming at Tilda.
She’s wearing a black-and-white dress, a black and white wig, and black-out-of-place makeup.
Tilda then quickly turns around and stabs the demonic hand with her bare hand.
The film then cuts to a shot of Will Smith and Terence Stamp standing on a rooftop, and Tilden’s character screams out to her that the demon is her “little sister.”
Tilda and Maggie Smith were on the island during filming of the first season of The Purge, but the film was eventually scrapped after it was discovered that the film could have caused a heart attack.
