In 2018, the 42 films in the first part of the series were: Black Hawk Down (1991), Atonement (1999), The Avengers: Age of Ultron (2014), Blade Runner 2049 (2027), A Wrinkle in Time (2016), The Greatest Showman (1954), and The Artist (1973).
There were two exceptions to the rule, as well.
In 2000, The Grand Budapest Hotel was released in a theatrical format.
The film was certified for a theatrical release in the U.S. and Canada, but not in Australia, where it was a limited release.
In 2013, The Hangover: Part III was released for the first time on home video.
The U.K. and Ireland also had their own limited release of the film.
In 2017, director Steven Soderbergh released The Shawshank Redemption on home release, and the movie was rated PG-13.
